About Kamal Khera
Kamal Khera is your Member of Parliament representing the beautiful riding of Brampton West since 2015. Kamal has held a diverse set of positions in Government and is currently the Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities. She has also served as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health (2015-2016), Minister of National Revenue (2016-2017), and Minister of International Development (2017- 2021) as well as the Minister of Seniors (2021-2023). She has previously served on numerous Standing Committees in Parliament including Health, Finance, Foreign Affairs, and Special Joint Committee on Physician-Assisted Dying. Currently, she serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security.
A Registered Nurse by trade, community volunteer and a political activist - Kamal is passionate about improving the lives of those around her and she is committed to being a strong voice for all residents in Brampton West.
